What is double cleansing?

How do you double cleanse?
When it comes to how to double cleanse, texture is key: always start with an oil-based balm cleanser, then follow with a foamier, water-based cleanser.
Massage your balm into dry skin using circular motions; concentrate on your cheeks, forehead and chin first, then move on to your eyes and lips. Once you’ve broken down your makeup, rinse your face with warm water or use a damp cloth (muslin or microfibre is best!) to gently wipe away the balm.
Next, take your water-based cleanser and work it into damp skin, paying extra attention to oilier areas like your T-zone. Once you’re all lathered up, wash away the cleanser with warm – not hot – water, then pat your face dry with a clean towel.
